Strengthening Partnerships in Esbjerg DK

OffshoreCrew visited Esbjerg DK to meet with Tee Marine and Maersk Training. Discover how valuable insights and strong partnerships are driving new opportunities in offshore operations.

Andrew and Helge from OffshoreCrew recently spent two productive days in Esbjerg, Denmark — a key hub for offshore wind operations. The trip combined strategic meetings, vessel visits, and training center tours, all aimed at deepening partnerships and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in the region.

Strengthening Our Collaboration with Tee Marine

Our visit to Tee Marine began at their harborfront office, where we met with management and discussed ongoing and future operations. We then toured their vessels Rapid and Firmus — modern, specialized crew transfer vessels designed for offshore wind support.

Developed and owned by UMOE Mandal, these vessels feature an advanced Air-Cushion Catamaran (ACC) design that delivers exceptional seakeeping performance, increased passenger comfort, reduced seasickness, and safe transfers.

Getting onboard and meeting the crews was especially valuable. It gave us first-hand insight into the vessels’ operations, daily work routines, and the skills required to operate in offshore wind. This deeper understanding allows us to match crew more accurately to assignments and ensure our clients get the competence they need.

Exploring Training Opportunities with Maersk

Another key stop was Maersk Training. We received an in-depth tour of their world-class training facilities and learned more about their wide range of safety and offshore courses.

Their flexible approach to customizing training packages for groups makes them a highly attractive partner for future upskilling of Offshorecrew personnel. With more of our activities taking place in the Esbjerg region, access to relevant, high-quality training is a major advantage.

Building Relationships, Creating Value

Beyond the formal visits, the trip also provided valuable time for internal team building and strengthening external partnerships. Shared travel, joint activities, and open conversations contribute to stronger collaboration across companies and teams.

This visit reinforced Esbjerg’s importance as a place to build lasting relationships with key industry players.

Trips like these help us grow stronger together with our partners, create better opportunities for our people, and support the development of a safe and efficient offshore wind industry.

We believe strong partnerships lead to better operations. Could your company be our next trusted partner? Let’s connect and explore the possibilities.
